they moved me from your memory; i'm still there in your soul
I'm a 17 year old Illinoisan girl who likes a lot of things but not a lot of fandoms. Some of these things include: Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Avengers, Whose Line Is It Anyway? (this fandom I do actually like), The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices, and The Lord of the Rings. I am also a literature nerd in general as well as a Latin nerd. I'm in the process of changing themes, but there should be an about me page up eventually. Maybe. I tend to procrastinate as often as I uses parentheses (which is pretty often). It's a miracle I even changed this description.

Say What Now of the Day: The requirement that health insurers cover contraception went into effect today, and here’s what Pennsylvania Congressman Mike Kelly had to say about it:

I know in your mind you can think of times when America was attacked. One is December 7th, that’s Pearl Harbor day.  The other is September 11th, and that’s the day of the terrorist attack. I want you to remember August the 1st, 2012, the attack on our religious freedom. That is a day that will live in infamy, along with those other dates.

…..what?
Not only is that completely messed up, it also makes zero sense.
Because allowing women to have their contraceptives covered by insurance is totally similar to the deaths of thousands of people and the shattering of peace.
Totally.
